Why should I buy a car through AZROVERS rather than from a dealership?

A dealer's objective is to sell you the cars on their lot, whether it's a good deal for you or not. They will do their best to steer you to a model or a color that's not really high on your list, because it is in THEIR best interest to do so. OUR best interest is to see that you get the car YOU want, and we have hundreds to choose from every week. We don't want to sell you a bad car, and we don't have to, since we don't commit to it until you do! Dealerships will do anything to get you onto their lot when you call them looking for a specific car. That's the place where they can most effectively wear you down and talk you into buying what they want to sell you, at terms that are most favorable to them. In contrast, most of our work is happily done by phone, fax, and the Internet. Simply put, buying through AZROVERS is a convenient and stress free way to purchase a luxury car.


Where do you get your cars?

Our main source is from high quality dealer-only luxury vehicle auctions. We buy primarily manufacturer's lease returns, as well as perfect cars from out extensive network of auto brokers, leasing companies, and reputable dealers.


How do I "name my own price"?

Once we have found a car that you like, we discuss what the optimum price would be, and what you're willing to pay. Once you have decided on a reasonable offer, you sign a Maximum Bid Purchase Agreement that states the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for that particular vehicle. If we can't get the selected car at the maximum price, don't worry, we have hundreds more to choose from!


What about a warranty?

Most of our vehicles are late model automobiles that are still under the factory warranty. We also have some of the best aftermarket warranties available to choose from, it's just a matter of finding the right one for your needs.


Can I get information about the car I am interested in buying?

Absolutely. We run a CarFax on every potential vehicle that we are prepared to bid on to provide you with the vehicle's history of any accidents, odometer readings, and title history. In addition we examine the vehicle thoroughly and provide over-the-phone detailed analysis for you while we are in front of the vehicle.


Do you accept trade-ins?

Yes. We are happy to take your trade-in vehicle and we'll give you a fair wholesale price, based on condition and mileage. As a wholesale dealer, we cannot give you a retail price for your car. However, many states offer sales tax "trade in credit" which helps raise your trade-in value. Under this rule, if you trade a vehicle to a dealer, you only pay sales tax on the difference in price between your trade-in and the car you are buying. This sales tax credit may be substantial, and bring you closer to a retail price on your trade. For example, if your trade is worth $50,000 and the state you're in offers the trade credit, and the state has a tax rate of 7%, then you will save $3500 in sales tax on the new car. So, it would be the same as you selling your car to a retail customer for $53,500.


What is a "retainer" and why does AZROVERS need to collect this from me before they begin a search for my new vehicle?

A retainer is nothing more than an earnest deposit by check or credit card. It is fully refundable in the event you do not purchase or lease your vehicle through us. The reason we collect this retainer, which is based on the estimated price of vehicle(s) we are bidding on, is to segregate the casual shoppers from the serious car buyers. Our Land Rover Specialists spend an average of 2-3 days on each client?s vehicle search and transaction. While we are willing to invest that time, without any guarantee of compensation, we want to know that our client is a serious buyer who is prepared to make a purchase in the event we find his/her car at or below the maximum bid price.
