They are designed to offer you, the consumer, with the highest level of mechanical protection available, outside of the original factory warranty. When choosing mechanical protection for your vehicle there are several factors to consider. 1. How much time and how many miles do I want my coverage to last? • Coverage terms last from 3 months / or 3,000 miles up to 6 years / or 100,000 miles and every term in between. It is very important to calculate how many miles a year you drive in order to choose the policy that’s right for you. Our experts can help you find what will work best for you. 2. What type of coverage do I want? What will my warranty cover? • Types of coverage differ greatly from simple Power train Coverage (engine and transmission only) to Exclusionary Coverage, which mimics the original factory warranty. Depending on your needs or concerns, it is very important to understand the depth of coverage you want. It will greatly alter the cost of the service agreement. Every policy lists exactly what is covered or, in the case of exclusionary coverage, what is not covered. Most all the service agreements do offer an auto club that consists of roadside and towing assistance. 3. Who is the company offering the coverage? • A service agreement is only as good as the company that is backing it. Our Service Agreements are reinsured by Nationwide Insurance. One of the nation’s strongest companies that has been rated A+ by AM Best. In other words, there is no doubt whether your agreement will be in force today, tomorrow or years into the future. 4. How much will I have to pay out of pocket for a deductible? • You choose how much money you want to spend out of pocket when you choose your deductible. The standard deductible is $100.00, although a $50 and $0 deductible is usually available for a minimal fee. 5. When will my coverage begin? Is there a waiting period until the coverage begins? • Vehicle Service Agreements that are purchased at the same time as the vehicle will enjoy day one coverage. As soon as you leave the lot, you are covered. Service agreements purchased 30 days after the purchase of the vehicle will have to endure a 30 day waiting period prior to coverage beginning. 6. Can I finance my Service Agreement? • YES! If paying for your service agreement up front doesn’t fit into your plans, you can finance your warranty over a 12 or 18 month period with zero interest and a very small down payment.
